Carmen Longas Luque is a PhD candidate and lecturer at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She graduated in Psychology by the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain and moved to the Netherlands right after, where she obtained a research master degree in Behavioural Science by the Radboud University. She is working now in an international research project funded by the NWO where she explores discourses about race/ethnicity in Spanish televised football, with dr. Jacco van Sterkenburg as co-promotor and prof. dr. Susanne Janssen as promotor. Among her research interests are, among others, issues related to racism and whiteness. She curently teaches Intercultural Communication and Statistics at the Erasmus University.
