

Marie Bagley
Head of Governance and Administration
Marie is a highly skilled and accomplished administrator and manager with an impressive career spanning over 20 years. Her expertise encompasses a diverse range of areas including education, social support (with a focus on individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs as well as young and vulnerable people), team leadership and development, data analysis and reporting, research, governance, project and budget management, and marketing (including events management).
During her 14-year career at a UK university dedicated to widening participation, Marie held various roles supporting the needs of the institution’s diverse student body. She later transitioned to a position focused on increasing applications from underrepresented communities, managing multiple events to target and meet their unique needs.
As part of the CSR in a previous role, Marie volunteered to give marketing and event support to ShruthiUK, British Carnatic Choir, in holding it’s inaugural World Music Conference in 2017.
Marie’s contributions to a team project were recognized with a nomination for a Times Higher Education Award, and she was also personally nominated for a Students’ Union Award for Outstanding Support.
Marie volunteers as an independent school governor and has qualifications in Business as well as Social Policy (with a focus on Special Needs & Inclusion)
